Hair sprays are cosmetic products often used by hair stylists and women to give a particular look to hair. Apple cider vinegar can also be used to naturally remove chemical buildup from hair. Make a mixture of 1 cup water and 1 cup vinegar in a bowl. Rinse well, so that the mixture is completely washed out and do not worry about vinegar's smell as it goes off by rinsing.

Epsom Salt
You can also make use of Epsom salt to get rid of the buildup. To one gallon of distilled water, add one cup Epsom salt and one cup lemon juice and set it aside for one day. The next day you can use this mixture to wet your hair, leave it for some time and shampoo as usual to clear the buildup.

Warm Water
Lukewarm water is capable of removing excess buildup. You can take some time out of your busy schedule and make it a point to rinse your hair with lukewarm water everyday, so that you regularly ward off the chemical deposition from your curly hair extensions hair. Ensure not to use hot water for rinsing because it can cause further damage.

I know, the 2 step process of washing hair is old-fashioned and time-consuming because of which, many women now prefer to use 2 in 1 shampoos containing cleansing and conditioning agents.
